Document Checklist Before You Book the Exam
Prepare documents before booking, because a missing item usually means a second trip to the service hall.
Start with identity documents: passport with a valid visa or residence permit, and the temporary residence registration form issued where you live.
Next, complete the health check at an approved medical institution. Bring your passport and photos.
If you hold a foreign license, prepare a certified Chinese translation and the original license.
Finally, bring passport-style photos in the required size and quantity. Keep digital copies of everything.
